Nova Pharmaceutical Inc. Receives Order From Albertsons / American Stores, Inc. for Gold's Gym Nutrition Products
LAKE ELSINORE, Calif., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Nova Pharmaceutical Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: NOVX) has received an opening order from Albertsons / American Stores, Inc. totaling over $100,000 for its newly launched Gold's Gym Nutrition line. Albertsons recently acquired the American Stores chain, which is the parent company to several retail outlets that include SavOn, Jewel, Osco, Lucky, and Acme. Two of the Gold's Gym Nutrition products, Thermo XP2 and VanaChrom, will be on the American Store's shelves as of February 2000. Nova Pharmaceutical Inc. believes that this transaction and those expected to follow will significantly increase public awareness to the Gold's Gym Nutrition and Nova Pharmaceutical name.
In March of 1999, Nova Pharmaceutical Inc announced its exclusive licensing agreement with Gold's Gym Enterprises, Inc. to develop, market and distribute nutritional supplements under the Gold's Gym trademark.
