Question for the planet - Given the scale & planning that is/would be required to launch a new football league, (not to mention money), should we assume that WWFE was working on this at the time of the IPO? If so, didn't the WWFE and the underwriters have a legal obligation to disclose it in the prospectus? The money that WWFE is going to spend on the football league is significant enough to have created analyst downgrades and the stock to plummet. With WWFE planning on spending a lot of money on the football startup, I guess the proceeds from the IPO come in handy. Gee, what a coincidence. I wonder what the investment banking departments of the underwriters knew or didn't know at the time of the IPO and what they passed on and didn't pass on to the analysts covering the stock. For all we know though, everything might be totally above board, though. Awww, well maybe WWFE can get Monica Lewinsky to play center. Assume the position.
