Return to Discussion Board For libertarians

We know who Libertarians are. We know what Libertarian philosophy is. Relevant issues confront us today as liberty is under constant attack from all quarters... including from trolls on the discussion boards. Here at SI, there seems to be a lot of interest in discussing liberty and how and why it works better than any of the alternatives. This thread is for libertarians with a solid understanding of reality, willing to seek and address answers, while seeking to discuss implementation of Libertarian principles in real life situations. Lively debate welcome, but at least a moderate degree of civility would be appreciated. Let freedom ring!

If you're not sure if you are a Libertarian, or don't know what you are, you can find the answer, here: The World's Smallest Political Quiz is the ORIGINAL Internet Political Quiz. Take the Quiz now and find out where you fit on the political map! The World’s Smallest Political Quiz is a fast, fun and accurate assessment of a person’s overall political views. The Quiz presents a new political map that is far more accurate than the old “Left versus Right” line, based on ten questions on specific political issues to find your place.

How it works here: The point of this community is cooperation in keeping informed... and honest, informed discussion between those who bother staying informed. Our combined effort should make this into a more Libertarian version of Drudge... with conversation. There's enough news out there to overwhelm us... but, we can share the editorial duties and stay focused on what matters. Chip in. Dive into the list below, or use your own sources (I'll add them to the list if you ask) and bring us back those items you find important to know, interesting, entertaining, or otherwise worth discussing. Post the links for us, please. Feel free to edit or create your own titles. We will respect others content ownership, so abide by "fair use" if you want to quote some portion of an article.

This thread is for libertarians: not for unthinking trolls seeking to disrupt honest, liberty focused conversation among libertarians by spamming libertarians with a constant flow of non-libertarian ideas... while ignoring the conversation that is occurring...
