Immucor (BLUD), based in Norcross, Georgia, sells reagents for blood testing to health care providers. Its revolutionary machine, the ABS2000, has been pending FDA approval for over a year and should have its application acted upon in the next few months. The ABS2000 automatically performs the basic 8 blood tests automatically, in much shorter time and at a great saving of lab technician time. Three blood samples are taken and the results are printed out or displayed by the machine's software.
