$$$ LEVERAGE TO THE PRICE OF GOLD Franco-Nevada Warrants of March 2012, strike c$32.00, no cap. Stock now $31.50 or so, so the warrants could go into the money soon. They are already getting more expensive, 4.00 plus apiece.
$$$ GOLD PRODUCER ~ Claude Resources, CGR / CRJ.TO. I own the warrants, CRJ-WT.TO. Strike price of c1.60, good until May 2013. I am in this because sometime this year I think they are going to make an important announcement about reopening Madsen mine shaft and mill, which they own along with 10,000 surrounding acres of land that includes past high grade underground gold mines besides Madsen.
GOLD DRILL PLAY SPECS
RYG.V / RYGZF.PK Ryan Gold, this is a new Yukon gold drill play. The guy whose properties have been poured into this vehicle is Shawn Ryan. He has gotten ahead of the pack in Yukon gold exploration. He was the guy who vended the properties to Underworld, which soon became part of Kinross once drilling started, and then Kaminak's Coffee property. Those are his two big winners so far. Hard to believe he did not save some very cool properties for this vehicle, in which he has a substantial ongoing interest other than royalties.

$$$ ~ High Desert Gold, HDGCF.PK / HDG.V Thin float, was 60-40 with Fronteer on Gold Springs eastern nevada property. With Fronteer being acquired by Newmont, it is Newmont that will own 40 percent of what could be a very important discovery. Check out 'Silica Hill.'
SILVER DRILL PLAY SPECS
$$$ LIONS GATE ENERGY LG.V / LSGEF.PK A LESS THAN 30 MILLION SHARE little spec selling for 15-16 cent stock giving it a market cap of $4 to $5 million. Controlled by Frank Callahan, who has been buying like crazy. I bought on spec that he will fold it into his new IPO, Blind Creek, at a profit. Both are silver-oriented with gold credits. Frank is the founder and CEO of Barkerville Gold.
$$$ Xtierra, XAG.V / XRESF.PK Silver with a gold kicker in Mexico. Sprott Resources is a new investor. Float is much thinner than it looks at first.
$$$ Argentex ATX.V/AGXM This one only has 55 million shares and some powerfully large silver/gold holdings down in Argentina. I am looking for drill results coinciding with silver fever in the spring. It trades pretty good in the U.S. market too. |
