Microvision, Inc. is a developer and supplier of electro-optics technologies that enable the
development and manufacture of high performance visual displays, image scanners and
related products. Virtual Retinal Display™ (VRD™) technology (see
mvis.com  is the key innovation that Microvision has
targeted to dominate the personal display category.

Microvision's mission is to lead the way in the development of strategically important technologies for patterning light to capture and display images and to continuously create meaningful technological advantage as the foundation for sound relationships with partners,
suppliers and customers.

VRD technology offers an innovative new method of displaying text or graphical information of any kind. The device rapidly scans a low-power pinpoint beam of colored light onto the retina of the viewer's eye, creating a high resolution, full-motion image without the use of screens or externally projected images.

VRD technology is designed to enable the development and cost-effective manufacture of personal displays -- lightweight, high-performance head-worn or hand-held visual displays -- for a variety of applications.

The company's customers are manufacturers of electronic and computing products for use in Military, Industrial, Medical, Communications and Consumer applications, who value Microvision's technology because it uniquely enables them to enhance existing products and to create new products featuring dramatic improvements in display performance and user convenience at a reasonable cost.

Microvision was founded in 1993 in Seattle, Washington. It is a publicly held company listed on NASDAQ. More information on the company is available at mvis.com
