TRANSGLOBE ENERGY CORPORATION
TGL.T in Canada and TGA in the US

An international exploration and production company with its corporate office in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. TransGlobe, through its wholly owned subsidiary, TG Holdings Yemen Inc., holds a working interest in two Production Sharing Agreements in the Republic of Yemen where it has participated in new oil discoveries. The first of these discoveries, the Tasour field, was brought into production during 2000. TransGlobe also has producing properties in Alberta, Canada.

Bill Powers of the Canadian Energy Viewpoint has been extremely bullish on this stock for over a year, stuck with it last summer 2004 in the US$2.30 to US$2.60 range, and pounded the table that it would easily reach $10. He is impressed by the management at TransGlobe, and believes they are superstars in the exploration part. The company has no debt, is almost ready with a pipeline which will take output in Yemen sites to the Red Sea ports. This is a powerhouse midcap in the making.

North American institutional ownership of this stock is almost nil, so far...
