The subject of this board is Nokia, the company, NOK, the stock, and all things that ARE related to them, including the elements in the markets, the competition in the company's markets as it relates to NOK, and features that matter in analysis of the stock and its trading patterns.
Your trading decisions are your own business... and neither they, nor others decisions, are a proper subject of the board. The focus is still not specifically limited to addressing short term traders versus investors... but, the bias is toward information that will support an effort in due diligence that will be more useful for longer term investors than day traders.
The focus of the board is one that is intended to illuminate... providing information and sharing it is the point, along with creating an environment in which sharing effort in analysis is made possible. Opinions pro or con are welcome... as long as they are supported by a presentation of useful information and are backed by actual reasoning. Posts that are "pumping" or "cheerleading" or those that are "bashing" are thus off topic. The subject is the company... not your unreasoned opinion of the company.
Things that are specifically NOT the subject of this board are: other posters, your own or others posts on other boards that are off topic, your unsubstantiated claims about your own decisions in trading, your personal issues, your opinions of other posters or your interest in their trading, personal attacks, offensive language, etc. Posts on those subjects will be removed as "noise", a pointless waste of others time and an abuse of their goodwill. Repeated violations will result in posters being banned from the list, in order to enable the development of a positive community in which discussion of the proper subject of the list dominates our discussions.
On any other subject that is not specifically relevant to a consideration of the proper subject of the board... occasional social banter and off topic discussion is acceptable... as long as it is positive in nature, supports the development of a positive community, with positive interaction between participants, and if it does not focus on personal attacks, etc.
