Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (KBLB) a biotechnology company, has their focus on developing high performance polymers and technical fibers. The company is utilizing their proprietary genetic engineering technology to develop and produce polymers and protein-based materials, including Spider silk, which may have numerous commercial and consumer applications.

With interest in genetic engineering dating back to the 1970s, Mr. Thompson has invented a pending provisional patent application for a number of organic polymers. This patent application has been assigned to benefit Kraig Biocraft and is a central part of the company’s efforts in bringing those inventions to the market.
