Calypso Wireless, Inc. (Pink CLYW): a development stage company, offers technology, which integrates traditional cellular telephone systems and Internet; to the wireless telephone and data service provider (mobile carriers). The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Industria de Telecomunicaciones Americanas ATEL, S.A., intends to supply and license cellular broadband real time video phones, and other wireless devices supporting telecommunications infrastructure, which utilize its ASNAP technology. Calypso‘s ASNAP technology enables users of cellular phones, personal computer media interface card accessory (PCMCIA) cards, and other wireless devices to roam between existing cellular WAN’s global system for mobile communications/general packet radio service or code division multiple access, and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN).
