With a history that goes back to National Dairy, which changed its name awhile back to Kraft, its most well-known brand, which bought General Foods (25% owned at the time by Berkshire Hathaway), which was bought by Philip Morris, Kraft Foods has gone public again, with an astronomical valuation. Is there value here, or was Goldman Sachs right? MO holds on to 84% through its Class B shares that have 10 votes each and 97% voting power. The Class A shares started trading June 13, 2001 as KFT.

The original post was created on 06/13/2001 and SI couldn't link the recent posts to the Quotes screen because I created the Subject before it recognized "KFT". So this is the sequel.
