VITRIX Focuses Development Efforts On ASP Version of Frontline Labor Management Applications
TEMPE, Ariz., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- VITRIX, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VTTX - news) announced today that Hamid Shojaee, has been appointed Vice President of Research and Development to lead the Company's development of the next generation of workforce management solutions, based on an ASP (``Application Service Provider') model. Building on the momentum gained with the Company's recent introduction of HourTrack 2000(TM) Workforce Management Suite, Mr. Shojaee's first initiative will be to develop an ASP version of HourTrack 2000. HourTrack 2000 solves frontline labor management challenges of small and medium sized businesses.
``Mr. Shojaee is uniquely qualified to lead VITRIX's new R & D initiative because of his keen knowledge of HourTrack 2000, e-business, and the Internet. We are excited about him delivering this extremely important new evolution of our time and attendance solution,' commented Michael Wolf, CEO and President of VITRIX.
``HourTrack 2000 will be the foundation for a variety of new solutions and services provided through the Internet by VITRIX. We strategically designed HourTrack 2000 with the Web in mind,' commented Mr. Shojaee, ``by counting on the fact that all of our applications will eventually be served over the Internet in an ASP model. For the past two years, we have been building the framework to make that happen. VITRIX's business strategies now will be centered on the rapidly developing Internet Business to Business economy.'
``We believe that the new ASP model is one of the best ways to solve the needs of today's small to medium-sized businesses. In order to deliver a complete Workforce Management solution, we will aggressively pursue partnerships with leading Payroll and Human Resources Processing/ Administration providers from around the country,' stated Mr. Wolf. ``We will then integrate our frontline time, attendance, and employee scheduling solution with their backend payroll and HR solutions,' commented Mr. Wolf.
The ASP version of HourTrack 2000 will enable companies to outsource the hosting of critical workforce management applications, while at the same time providing online, real-time access, more visibility, and more control of their valuable employee resources.
``These companies are clamoring to improve their competitive positioning by employing efficient e-business applications to achieve new levels of growth and corporate development. We see the need for a comprehensive employer-to- employee portal that, through a simple Internet browser connection, is the single reference source for the two-way communication of HR and Labor management information between employers and employees. Over time, this portal will evolve into the primary vehicle for delivering all company-wide workforce information from both internal and external sources,' remarked Mr. Wolf.
