Internet stocks have propelled many an investor's portfolio into the
stratosphere even as some professionals have been cautioning that the internet is an investment bubble ready to burst. But even such conservative stalwarts as Alan Greenspan believe that the internet will fundamentally change the way we do business.

The purpose of this thread is to establish a forum for the rational discussion of the internet in general as well as specific internet-related companies and internet stocks. It is our hope that discussion will be restricted to analysis (it doesn't have to be numerical, but try to support your statements!). This is not intended as a bear thread or a cheerleading thread, but as a place where views based on analysis of fundamentals and growth can be exchanged. We hope to get closer to an understanding of how to place a valuation on internet stocks and what form the internet and internet companies will take.
