FA also manufactures and markets equipment and systems used in the manufacture of semiconductor chips. For the six months ended 12/28/97, revenues rose 48% to $453.1 million. Net loss from continuing operations before extraordinary item fell 23% to $6.7 million. Revenues reflect strong growth in the commercial aerospace industry. Net loss reflects higher R&D expenses.
