FA is engaged in the distribution, manufacturing and marketing of aerospace fasteners and aircraft parts distribution. FA also manufactures and markets equipment and systems used in the manufacture of semiconductor chips. For the six months ended 12/28/97, revenues rose 48% to $453.1 million. Net loss from continuing operations before extraordinary item fell 23% to $6.7 million. Revenues reflect strong growth in the commercial aerospace industry. Net loss reflects higher R&D expenses.
