You are the one claiming that Microsoft(who were already coming under criticism for the increased system requirements to run Vista over XP), had no self-interest in wanting to fudge how well Vista would run on certain hardware. I'm not denying that Intel benefited from how Microsoft went about promoting hardware as Vista compliant, I am disputing your spurious claims as to Microsoft's motivations here. And I never implied what you are claiming I did about OEMS and Vista sales, that is a ridiculous conclusion you have reached. You seem to think that whenever you state something that doesn't stand up to scrutiny, that it is an outrage for anyone to question you on it. Once again you got yourself into a muddle because of your "No matter what, blame Intel" worldview.
