WAG: I will stick with management's assessment. Which, as I understand it, is this: If we can't get a profitable deal with ESRX, why do the deal just to have sales and no earnings from that?

It's thus my opinion that yes, the lack of the deal will be lower store sales (maybe for a short time, maybe longer), but the earnings hit will not be significant over time. So a "horrible" decision? Management in denial? I take that as media talk.

For a company that maybe made a mistake, and maybe could be shorted, look at ESRX. They jumped up their debt to 4x equity with their latest acquisition.

Of course, all jmo, and I've been wrong many, many times. I did add though to my WAG position yesterday, and again today.
