How long will the contest run for? Ocean Power is certainly my pick! The Stirling's are going through engineering pre-manufacturing development. Production volumes estimated to begin in '03. PV Solar with the SAIC concentrator could be much sooner. Gm-

WMarsh - As for how close Stirlings are to production.... it depends on the company you are talking about. One has recently signed a term sheet with BMW to produce engines and solar collector mirrors. Production schedule to begin in 6 months. I find picking a company difficult since a couple of the companies at the forefront with the best prospects are not publicly traded at this time. The public companies get the press but several private companies are in the lead on patents and engineering not to mention some of the in-house development by XOM, MOT and others.
