This speaks to timing, not technological superiority. There's no way, at least until the fab under construction is operational, that enough Mirasol screens could be produced to satisfy such a volume customer. Let's see what happens next year. Everything I have seen points to Mirasol being a better overall solution than color e-ink. The two big questions I think relate to pricing and capacity. We still dont have much of an idea about the relative pricing of e-ink/color e-ink and Mirasol. Maybe the Amazon launch will answer one half of that question. The second unknown is the capacity of the Mirasol fab. I am not sure that they could 3 million units a month even after the 2nd fab launches (though that is completely based on various WAG's on capacity). Slacker
