Greed is a virus, IMHO, and sometimes a virus will circle a family (the banks, in this case) many times before going away. Unfortunately, the greed virus will never go away?

As far as the little investor? Reminds me of people who experienced the Great Depression - it's something you never forget and it alters you forever.
