As in a car that the guys I grew up with had.. This was in the forties ...Long before any of you was even thought about.

I believe it was a Ford... The back pulled down like where is trunk is today and made a seat. Then us gals would ride in the back of the car and the guys in between while the driver played race car.

This was a precursor to the convertible... WHAT FUN........ But then everything we did was fun on those day.
NO TV

NO cell phones

NO video games... Just a group of teen agers swinging on lamp posts and walking together the mile to school and home and back after lunch and then home again. Stopping by Hershey's for a soda...

Playing spin the bottle on week-ends.. WE made our own fun.

Was life simpler then? YES

AND people were nicer to one another. Really.
