PNY boosts quarterly payout by 3.3% ===== The Board of Directors of Piedmont Natural Gas ( PNY) today approved an increase in the Company's dividend for the 35th consecutive year. At its regularly scheduled meeting, the Board declared a quarterly dividend on Common Stock of 31 cents per share, up from the previous quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share. The increased dividend is payable April 15, 2013, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 25, 2013. ===== Rate of dividend increase has dropped off with this one ..
