Who knows how he got away with it. In Obama's case - he didn't make the case. He knew the reality of health care as did almost everyone else. We have been talking about fixing health care for over 50 years. We know exactly what is wrong. It is no secret. The solution is something else. There were inherent obstacles and entrenched interests. Those were huge limitations. And the entrenched interests did their best to spread fear and made false claims. Telling "the truth" as you see it is not a strategy that serves any purpose.
