After upgrading to Windows 7 I experienced the exact same thing, but must have reinstalled TWS promptly to solve it.

I wonder why we upgraded to Windows 7?

My Vista Ultimate installation had no problems. I see no major improvement in anything...

If Vista works and if you don't have a compelling reason to upgrade, I would say "Save the money and trouble - Don't Upgrade."
