DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 1997--Country World Casinos
Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: CWRC), Monday announced it has entered into a
definitive management agreement with a joint venture between Luciani
& Associates LLC and Casino Research & Planning Corp. of Atlantic
City, N.J. ("Casino Manager") to provide management services related
to the design, development, and operation of the casino.
The definitive management agreement will be for an initial term
of five years commencing on the date that gaming operations begin and
will be renewable yearly by the Casino Manager for successive
five-year terms, subject to maintaining its gaming license and
production of reasonable operating results.
The members of the Casino Manager are leaders in casino design
and management services and in providing innovative, high technology
products and management services to organizations conducting lawful
gaming operations. Their seasoned staff has years of management
level experience with some of the world's most successful casinos.
Alfred Luciani, president of Luciani & Associates, has served as
Assistant Attorney General for the State of New Jersey; executive
vice president of the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City;
president and chief executive Officer of the Golden Nugget Casino and
Hotel in Las Vegas; executive vice president of Resorts Casino Hotel
in Atlantic City; and president and chief executive officer of the
Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise which owns the Foxwoods Resort
and Casino.
Casino Research and Planning Corp. is led by G. Michael Brown.
Brown practices law in the state of New Jersey and has served as the
director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement; chairman
of the Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Commission; and president and chief
executive officer of the Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise which
owns the Foxwoods Resort and Casino.
Foxwoods is continuously reported to be the largest and most
profitable casino in the world. Each of the management team members
has passed the scrutiny of gaming licensure in multiple
jurisdictions.
County World Casinos Inc., headquartered in Denver is a casino
development company, whose plans are to develop a casino and hotel
complex in Black Hawk, Colo.
