I thought it was encouraging for us that he said they would not use their huge cash horde to adopt a scorched earth policy (my description) like Dell to squeeze out the competition. He prefers to get the extra margin by trying to sell extra's. That leaves room for the little guys to compete on price. I only heard the last 55 minutes of the call, but it sounded like they were doing the best in high end routers, metro and VPN's -- the very areas that our babies are in. This reaffirms what we've gleaned from other company calls. CSCO sold off some after the call got going but not horribly. Perhaps a small sell off in the morning with some re-trenching later? We really need a nice contract win to break the impasse with the bond holders. OT: I need to get a computer for Grant to take to Cornell. Went to the Gateway store and compared Dell's prices then ran up to Circuit City to see if they had any closeout deals. Found a HP Pavilion 7950 that seems like a good deal. Has some bells and whistles that he probably won't use but I would. Could swap with him later. I'm due for an upgrade myself. Anyone know any reasons to avoid an HP computer? Bob
