Hi Sector,

Not a bad day + 5/8 considering the NAZ was down 151.5.

As a matter of fact, I'd take today on a plus 151.5 day!

Needless to say there aren't many nervous nellies out there in the KVHI ownership ranks. <VBG>

If you don't get filled today, you probably won't.

Hi Roy,

Any of your faster than a speeding bullet news releases.

I was expecting a current sensor announcement just before the Powercosm event.

I miss Alice !

Bob

P.S. 14.95 % day is pretty nice huh?

Kudos on your additional dynamos, Bob,

I miss Alice !

I couldn't agree more. What has happened to Alice...? did KVH get too big for a one person IR section? She is still listed on the web site under IR. Alice is the best IR person I've ever encountered, and a very nice lady indeed. I hope she is happy with whatever she's doing now.

I was expecting a current sensor announcement just before the Powercosm event.

I certainly was thinking along those lines, and it may still happen in the a.m. The timing would surely be ideal. I believe one of the CCs indicated the agreement was expected by the end of the year.

Good luck,

Roy

New Low-profile KVH TracVision L3 Brings Mobile Satellite TV to Vehicles
MIDDLETOWN, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 6, 2000--People on the road now have the option of receiving hundreds of channels of digital quality news, sports, weather, movies, and music entertainment thanks to the new TracVision® L3 mobile satellite television antenna from KVH Industries (Nasdaq:KVHI - news). When mounted on the roof of a truck, RV, bus, SUV, minivan, or train, the TracVision L3 continuously adjusts for vehicle motion to stay locked on the appropriate satellite signal.

The TracVision L3 delivers programming from DIRECTV®, the DISH Network(TM), or other high-powered DVB-compatible satellite systems worldwide. These new satellite services deliver hundreds of stations of exceptionally high-quality digital programming throughout the continental United States and in parts of Mexico and Canada. Programming includes news, sports, weather, movies, and other entertainment commonly found on cable TV systems. In addition, there are dozens of channels of commercial-free CD-quality music catering to almost every taste as well as Internet-style data broadcast services.

Operation of the TracVision L3 is totally automatic. The TracVision L3's gyro-stabilized antenna accurately and continually tracks the satellites that broadcast television services. At the same time, KVH's integrated DVB technology provides instant and foolproof identification of the satellite being tracked, ensuring that TracVision L3 provides an uninterrupted lock on the satellite transmission. Another benefit of its DVB compatibility is that the system will even switch to a second satellite when necessary to receive local or premium programming broadcasts from a different satellite at another orbital location.

``The introduction of the TracVision L3 marks the first time DVB technology has been integrated into a land mobile system designed for North America,'' remarked Jim Dodez, KVH's vice president of marketing. ``TracVision L3 sets a new standard for in-motion satellite television reception on North American roads and offers a new level of quality, reliability, and versatility to travelers.''

With its minimal 14-1/2`` height and 31'' diameter footprint, TracVision L3 is an attractive addition aboard most vehicles. The stylish, weatherproof, dome is constructed of high-impact ABS plastic, and does not need to be stowed during operation like pop-up automatic systems that often are affected by wind, rust and corrosion. The dome protects the satellite antenna from the elements, assuring years of trouble free operation. The system weighs 33 pounds with all components contained within a flush-mount antenna dome. The entire system can be easily installed in approximately two hours on vehicles pre-wired with power and RF cables. Nationwide service is available through an extensive national support network.

``KVH has established and maintained its leadership position in the marine and land mobile markets by offering customers innovative, high-quality products at attractive price points,'' commented Dodez. ``In the marine industry, KVH has won the prestigious ''Best Product Awards`` from the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) for both satellite television and satellite communications products the past three years in a row. Our reliable technology and breakthrough prices on in-motion satellite television systems allowed us to capture well in excess of 60% market share in the RV market within our first year,'' he added.

KVH Industries, Inc. is a leading provider of innovative high-bandwidth communications products. Using proprietary fiber-optic and satellite antenna technology, the company is developing next-generation systems with greater precision, durability, and versatility for communications, navigation, and industrial applications. An ISO 9001 registered company, KVH has headquarters in Middletown, Rhode Island, with a fiber-optic manufacturing facility in Illinois, and a European sales, marketing and support office in Hoersholm, Denmark.
