exactly great growth story and expectation tapered off by reality.

VSAT only viable growth story.

Defense is dead money with all austerity programs granular and not reliable but a plus with spits and starts.

Capex will absorb airtime revenue.

Wonder what backlog looks like - I didn't hear webcast yet.

Growth rates getting less than past hype.

As you say same ole same ole.

Not a bad close considering how much it was down on the disappointing miss for this quarter.

Conference call was pretty optimistic and the analysts seemed to like the outlook too.

A lot of focus on the disaster that Inmarsat is bringing upon itself, the swing to KVH products, and that KVHI is now the leader in VSAT.

Fog sales were an aberration this quarter and they don't expect that bad a showing in Fogs in the future again.

Recreation is picking up after a long downturn.

I guess the shorts did not want to press it any more and gave up and covered. Last time they missed the numbers about a year ago, the price more than doubled within a few months. Here's betting on the same.

Hi Walter

Probably the fleets that they will be announcing soon had a lot to do with yesterdays price.

First sellers looked at the numbers and wanted out and anybody who spent a little time saw
the fleet make up of 200 ships.

100+ from Japanese container fleet and Holland engineering and dredging company, I am going to guess
that it is Van Oord. They have roughly 75 work boats that I could find.

This is like getting another Coast Guard contact.

Pat mentioned airtime margins and how they can grow. Airtime was now at 28% from 4% year ago.

I think we can figure on 300 units a quarter, with 40% V3's - 60% V7's

Looking at Boatracs, they have a pretty good sized customer base between west, east and gulf coasts.

Could be several V3"s there.

Should be looking at 3200 to 3500 total units shipped by the end of this year.

Now we just need those TacNav/Fogs to get going.

Small float here could have a $2 to $3 upside with just a nice sized announcement.

For a quarterly loss, pretty good day and cc. Inmarsat is not going away, but they sure are going to
give KVH a boost.

Have a good day

Wondering if JRC is also licensed to make the V11 antennae.

This was part of Kvhi getting into the Japanese market - that is letting JVC make the antennae.

Well I guess Mr. Market did like the conference call after trashing the original earnings report release. With the bright prospects in store for the future, I almost wonder why someone has not taken them out already.
Any thoughts?

Hi Bob

Have not seen any comment, but to get that Japanese market I would think that would be a good move.

Keep them happy and all that airtime comes back. JRC could also be a good sales point for ship management products from KVH also. (Getting older, couldn't remember the product name)

Nice action this morning.

TOO closely held for that to happen.

KVH family members own control and are given very good lifestyle with out bosses.

KVHI all by itself will do fine.
