Nope. I didn't buy a share - just watched off and on all day.

There was good strength. Nobody really wanted to sell, and the lack of buyers on a day like today is understandable.

I've got what I want for now unless we dip again under $4, so feel free to buy. <g>

Cheap is my middle name. I bought lots of MRVC too under $6 (after it's big fall), when nobody else wanted it.

Funny how that works. At $5, when it was selling at the price of it's cash on the balance sheet ($0 for everything else) no one had a good word to say (except me, and few believed me then either).

But once it crossed $50 (then $70, then $100, then to $190+ before falling back) all of a sudden there were LOTs of buyers.

I prefer getting my shares cheaply thank you.

With that attitude - A wealthy man you'll be.

I just love the mentality of distribution - the excitement of greed displacing judgement and value.

I missed the optics runup - was committed in the semi equipment stocks. It must have been exciting.

Looks like it's past the drawing board stage already. Boeing announced today plans to equip their commercial aircraft with seat level access to the internet.

Several big-name partners announced with them, apparently KVHI is still too small to be considered a player in this area.

BP thanks for the heads up. I would suggest that the announcement would not rule out KVHI as these Integration deals utilize many companies technologies which are not promoted in the deal itself. It's the Systems Integrators contract after all.

This is the nature of OEM deals. MRVC has had this same status for many years. When the infrastructure of the component supplier is below a certain level you'll always see a lead partner take over. It makes good business sense since KVHI would have little or no incite into the regulations/ performance specs governing the rest of the system.

Re: In flight access. Posed the question to Alice at KVH IR. Her response:

We are not targeting airplanes at this point in time, but the announcement by
Boeing validates our own prediction that this market is huge and it will further
increase demand (if on a plane while I'm flying, why not in my car?). This will
drive a more-rapid development of the necessary services and satellite
capacities that need to be in place for our mobile antennas.

Regards,

Roy

BP...Thread...sorry about my post below. I commented on the Boeing deal without having any knowledge of it's specifics.

My Post was a generalized response to a Potential which has been clarified by specifics.
