Gohm, Hey Gohm, you got to give this pig credit for holding up so well. Even with NVDA and others collapsing, it has stayed within 10% of its 52 week high. Why would you think it has held up so well. It is an obvious high flyer in an age of high flyers getting crushed. What is holding it up. When (if ever) will it crack and join the party??? I am considering buying puts. Which months and what strike would make good sense to you?? Thanks for any and all thoughts in advance!! Steve D.

hey stephen,
congrats on your gain... if you have even a slight doubt that this is not a great short, you MUST lock in your gains IMMEDIATELY. you should never short on a whim and must have a full conviction on why you short a stock.

manipulation in a marketplace is a given fact in any industry including stocks. just some are more obvious and blatant than others. this is one of the many reasons WHY I DO NOT PLAY OPTIONS BUT OPEN SHORTS. many manipulations can work on short term basis, but looking at long term basis after reducing all the noise (manipulation & short term trends) the bubble game ALWAYS ends up where it started after it bursts.

just don't get caught holding the bag when the bottom falls out...

Gohm, Ever get nervous on days like today <G>. I have no position in Erts but was very close to pulling last week at 68 and today at 63. I believe the holiday shopping will be a disappointment and Erts will be affected. I also think we are likely to at least retest July's lows which should move Erts into the low 50's. If it ever cracked 50, where's any support??? Have a good weekend. STeve D.

EA games coming to a flight near you

DTI and EA bring the Sims to 747s

By Charlie Demerjian: Friday 22 September 2006, 08:44
EA AND DTI just announced they are bringing a bunch of the lightweight Pogo games to airplanes in flight.

The more curious bit is that they are bringing Sims 2 along with it. I can understand small puzzle games, but the Sims 2 is a comparatively heavyweight game as far as the hardware needed to run it is concerned...
