"MAXPAIN worked again"

You'd better be careful. On this thread, only wishful thinkers and CDMA experts who hope alot and think QCOM will go to 200 are welcome.

BTW, I'll venture a guess on the near term bottom for this stock. It will be in the 66-70 range within the next 2 weeks.

I'm not predicting like you Hector, but JGoren got it right and the stock was an incredible case of manipulation in the last couple of minutes. Wow!

I hope you are right JGoren.

There was a similar but upward move on CREE at the last couple of minutes. I'd be curious what the MaxPain was for that stock?

Tony

Does all this really make sense ?

It makes as much sense as the Naz at 5k. More, actually, because a Naz of 5k guaranteed this sort of decline.

When AG made that "irrational exuberance" remark the Dow was *under* 7k. Assuming he's even responsible for this, if the guy is really serious about taking the air out of the market there is a long, long way down left to go. How does a Naz of 1700 grab you?

None of these are predictions, just observations.

"I'm not predicting "

Besides maninpulation, how about momo traders and daytraders who ran it up to 110 and are now dumping it.

I don't follow CREE, but ORCL today was a good example of the impact daytraders have on a stock. Strong all day and with 5 minutes to go, it fell 1.5 points.

You don't get the kind of volume we have in these stocks from institutional selling and buying. There's one daytrading outfit in Edison, NJ that accounts for 15% of
daily Nasdaq volume. Add to that the other daytrading outfits around the country and you'll see what I'm getting at.

I want to see Mondays action, I tend to believe this was option related. If it is we will have big bounce on Monday. If we have no bounce then we are back to a base building range.

So perhaps it (SWIFTcomm) doesn't do voice?
----------

Definately data only.

I think it uses HDR IP for mobile broadband data only - sounds almost exactly like ComDev's Mergy.

Though Mitsubishi notes that it is "technology independent" from CDMA - so does ComDev's. All the better for marketing to GSM operators. Generic HDR can be installed "technology independent" from CDMA.

And if it didn't require QCOM's IP, IMO they would trumpet that in capital letters.

Stupid indicator? Have you spent anytime with the creator i.e., brain behind the indicator? I'm amazed you would have made such an inane utterance.

"about 75% of the time" beats flipping a coin or throwing darts...right?
