You could short PLAB and go long MASK, I suppose. Me, I'm just long MASK so I am risk if PLAB falls. Obviously if the merger terms get altered again, that is a risk, too.

I think it was originally scheduled for the end of February, and I don't know the current status. Sorry....

In their conference call they indicated a closing this quarter.

It's still trading at a 10-15% discount to PLAB. That seems large if the deal will be closed in the next 30 days.

I took a small arb position on the spread just for fun. Bot 1177 MASK and shorted 1000 PLAB. If it goes through, I make about $3K. If it doesn't go through, AUGHHHH!

I have owned MASK for a 1 1/2 years so I'll be joining the PLAB fun bunch regardless.
