>>SAP moving quickly and adroitly

yah right.

>>price pressure

sure there will be price pressure but this probably won't happen for a while. In the meantime, look at the relative valuations of a bunch of leading C/S apps companies all of which are to experience price pressure at least in line with i2 (probably even more so):

Company, Market Cap, Last Qtr License Revs

MANU ($41) $1.0b, $19.8mm
SEBL ($30) $1.2b, $20.8mm
ITWO ($45) $1.5b, $33.3mm

All have key integrators/partners.
i2 had the fastest sequential growth in June but DSO's were up and the quarter was back-end loaded.
The stock prices have fluctuated in opposite fashion lately with SEBL and MANU flat/down since June 30 and ITWO up sharply. I am going to wait on buying big into ITWO.

I agree. I'm waiting too--perhaps if/when I2 drops about ~20% from current valuations. What's your target purchase price?

Huh? 20% off 45 is $36. Last time I checked.

Don't make me lose faith in your numerical skills...

No. You buy at $38 and I will buy at $45 less 20+%.

I'm going on vacation but when I get back I want to see i2 at $36 & VNTV & SEBL at $25. PSFT <$50 would be nice too. Then you better be in if you aren't already cause my buying could move these stocks significantly. :)

You're cracking me up, Clam. ...in a good way. :)

I hope you get your prices. I'll be sleeping in the dog house, though, because my wife was all over me to trade out in the high thirties.

I'll see what I can do. Should be easy, because the markets will be in turmoil once they realize that you are out on vacation. Could this precipitate the much awaited market correction? No, Clam, please don't go...

There is money to be made even during a correction. I bought some CAIR ($17) today and feel good about not even checking a paper while I'm gone, except for maybe the NL West Standings. I will be sure to stop by and pick up the latest edition of Siebel Magazine - International Edition for you in their Munich or Amsterdam offices while I am there getting an update on sync times -- not.

Hey, you never got back to me on the SCOP product at the tech-weenie show you went to last week.

Was PEGA stuff there? I heard PEGA couldn't get their apps to scale past 18 users on anything but a MAC (jk Bill).

There has been heavy, heavy insider selling in Itwo and Manu during the last couple of weeks and according to 144s filed this week Itwo is about to be hit with much more as their insiders rush for the door. All this is in this weeks "InsiderTrader". Investors in these companies might want to check out AMSWA, since we are also a leader in the same niche of the market...we are not overpriced, still have the lowest PE, and have no insiders selling.
