Anyone have an idea what Friday's rally was about?
Havent seen any news or postings on this one in quite some time. Can't remember the last time that stock was as high as it got!

Saratoga has become quite stable lately especially after the settlement of the lawsuit with the Italian banks. You should see some steady quarterly profits and a return to stability that Saratoga never had since it started buying companies. After 1 or 2 more positive quarters look for them to be in the buying mode again.

STGA-sters,

Slow and steady upward movement...the best way to maintain credibility. Not a very visible stock but it looks like we may be seeing a recovery here. Once we get back the big institutions and high rollers, we can easily get back to even.

I personally cant wait!
It's been 2+ years for me and after many times of cost averaging I'm getting much closer. Although I took a bath and had to sell half about 1« months ago, I sure would like to make up for it Soooon!

I hear thru an investor newsletter(Investors Edge) that STGA is going to 5 this Spring and 10 this summer.

I've been too long on this one and have heard that many times before. It appears however, that this time they are back on track and moving forward. Don't get me wrong, nothing would make me happier than 5, let alone 10! I'm just a little cautious to get my hopes up for something like that!
There also seems to be some good posting going on at Yahoo now - that's encouraging as well.
