Did this analyst say 12 hours or 12 months<vbg>

From Bloomberg:
TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. (TQNT) rose 8 3/16, or
17 percent, to 57 9/16. The maker of semiconductors for cellular
phones was rated ''buy'' in new coverage by analyst Mark A.
McKechnie at Banc of America Securities. McKechnie, who predicts
the stock will reach 60 in 12 months, said the company has a
roster of big-name customers. He expects several years of ''super-
normal'' growth for the cellular handset industry because of
subscriber growth, deregulation and the possibility of wireless
data transmission.

The company was also rated ''strong buy'' in new coverage by
analyst Samuel S. May at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray. May expects
the stock to rise to 65 in the next 12 months.

Several things:
Timely news from that analyst. How long does anyone think he will keep his job with these aggressive price targets?<g>

I have heard two price targets at $100 and $80.

Stock will gap tomorrow and there will also be options with new strikes available. <VBG>

Exposure to Asia is a non event. I ahve done extensive research on the cell phone targets in Korea and China. The market is so big you can't believe the numbers. Remember that in Chinal they don't have any old infrastructure problems to deal with. They are looking at going straight to cable or ADSL and phones to cellular. Also, don't forget that TQNT's chips are a fit for satellites.

Michael, normally I am a conservative investor, but after looking at the volume this afternoon I bought more shares of TQNT at 54 1/4.
I came back to find that the stock was up another 4 points going into the close. I almost fell over when I saw the news release on the 3 for 2 split after the close. Now I wish I had bought more!!!! How's that for greed!!!!!!!! MC
