This interview was complete tells what is going on today what direction the company is going in the next appx. 4 years and gives anyone who is thinking about investing in TQNT alot of answers.
Not only did Ed cover handsets, but also fixed wireless, some Teledesic & the Fab.

Everyone that I know on this board already knows what is going on at Triquint , but now finally the rest of the investment world is starting to wake up.

Just go to your browser window, to the 'Location' field at the
top (containing the url). highlight the url (drag & click over
it) then 'copy' it (edit menu, copy selection). Paste the
entire url (including the beginning text "http://" into
your SI post as you type it.

<<*CIBC WORLD MARKETS UPS TRIQUINT <TQNT.O> TO STRONG BUY FROM HOLD>>

It is kind of funning how these so call stock broker operate. When the company stock is trading in the low 20's no body care to upgrade the stock now it is more than double and they came out from no where starting to pump the stock higher still. Look like time to sell to me..........

This is my kind of thread (and stock!): Up 5 and only 1 message to read!

So many other threads have lots of messages and don't make me nearly as much money.

Now I'm ruining it with a useless message! ;-)

I did buy this stock for two reasons: cellular phone growth and LMDS. I added to my position when CSCO & MOT bought Bosch Telecom. I think this says LMDS is real.

It's this type of behavior from analysts and companies that give them a bad name/reputation. Today's upgrade by CIBC is almost insulting.

Where have these fools been for the past few months?

What a joke!

Still, a great day for TQNT shareholders!

Yes, I find this leapfrog from HOLD to STRONG BUY almost insulting because they had the hold on the stock while they should have been pounding the table. Now that the stock has gone up over 300% since the dark days of only 9 months ago they come out and say "HEY everyone, we think this stocks a STRONG BUY". If they had done any homework, if they knew anything about the company, the sector, and the future of this industry a few months ago, they should have at least had a speculative buy rating or something to that effect. Where have these people been?

Look, I'm glad they upgraded the stock but as someone who's followed the company for a few years I find this type of behavior, from someone who's supposed to know a little bit about this company, a little bit distasteful and totally ironic!

Just my opinion,
Michael

I agree entirely. Lots of 'hold' ratings on a stock is a
strong signal to study the stock, and see if it worth buying -
since there is lots of room for analyst upgrades in the future,
to generate trend-followers to buy the stock from me at a much
higher price.
