Don, I appreciate the efforts of you and others on this thread to interpret the most recent press release. It seems that these releases often have the same underlying objective as many government budgets-- to conceal and/or obfuscate rather than to reveal and/or make clear. For what it's worth, I have been told by an expert who knows nothing of Coleville that the numbers cited in the release, if truthful and accurate, could make production worthwhile for the silver alone. I suppose time will tell. Insults aside, this thread's sheer entertainment value continues to make CLL well worth the price of admission! Cheers, Brian Warner

Richard/Ton Tonne

In The Websters Dictionnary and The Bantam Dictionnary,
it defines one Metric Ton as 2000 Kg with no definition for Tonne.
The only place I could find a definition for Tonne was in a French
Dictionnary, Tonne = Ton in english
Therefore 1ppm = 1g/ton, I still believe this is all metric as 90% of the world would define it.

Definition ot ton/tonne

There are several differents tons
A short ton is 2000 pounds
A long ton is 2240 pounds

Following is from the Alberta Gov't Metric handbook

Now that we've established how much a tonne or a gram is, lets get to
the bottom line on where CLL is going in the next 3-6 months! I've
taken a modest position on this stock at $3.25 in anticipation of a
tidy run up over the next few days. That now appears unlikely until
the company issues a clear statement without all the mush as evidenced
by yesterdays press release. I do agree however that the preliminary
results still bode well for a substantial increase in share value
over the next 12 months; it just means current shareholders will
have to be more patient than that witnessed yesterday. To-days move
up to $2.70 reflects a believe that there is strong underlying value.
I concurr with that assessment. Sit tight and surf this stock!

I agree. This stock is going nowhere but up in the near future.
It's a matter of patience now.The results of the trenching assays
were actually quite promising, it was the market reaction that is more of a surprise than anything. This stock will be more like a slow steady climb to an Arequipa level. I think everyone who bailed out was after a quick Bre-X style run. Would be interesting to see if any insiders(Directors) bailed out. Doubt it.
Relax, Relax.

I would chuck those dictionaries in the garbage, and quickly. A tonne (the SI world wide standard) is 1000 kg, not 2000. That is 2,200 pounds, for those still using the British system, fairly close to a ton as we know it.

What's the scoop with Bruce's departure? Anyone have any info on Peter? It would have been nice if CLL had given a bit of a bio about him in the press release.
