For the third quarter ending in October, the company expects to lose 2 cents on revenue of $33 million.

After dropping 33 cents, to $7.15, during Tuesday afternoon's regular session, the stock slid 60 cents in after-hours action on Nasdaq. At recent levels the stock is more than 80% below its 52-week high. SeaChange shares have traded in the single digits ever since a patent setback with rival nCube this spring.

The medicare changes were put in place in May and they
seem rather minor, not the real reason for lower profit
projections, in my opinion. The CEO is well respected here
in Birmingham but I don't like the way any of this sounds.

SEAC: I am sure they put a real positive spin as usual in
their conference call. It seems to work, whatever they are
doing. I thought the comments yesterday about the subscribers were directed at SEAC.

SEAC appears to be winning due to pricing. Their margins
in the 30's reflect that it is not technology.
I believe their unannounced MSO is Mediacom.

SEAC mentioned in the call they were replacing some CCUR
equipment as well as Diva. My guess it is in the PA or
NJ for Comcast. Or it is equipment from a trial with RCN
and Intertainer that was bought by Mediacom.
We need a clarification from CCUR.

Now does CCUR imply that SEAC is delivering systems that
are not in use by subscribers.

Do you think in your wildest dream that ccur would comment
on the statement seac is replacing ccur equipment...the silent company?
I will faint if ccur makes any comment at all...after all it is ccur you referred too, Right? you know they never say ANYTHING to support the shares, or drive share price for that matter.

I think SEAC just inflates their numbers and makes it appear
they are winning. It has just been too long that they are
reporting the big sales for them to still be behind ccur in
actual subscribers. ENOTS, they never support the stock when
it is weak, one of the reasons I think they play along with
the traders/manipulators. The other reason is they always
get their own stock sold quietly, you never realize it until
they have to report it. Another reason, you notice they
always alternate between real positive conference calls and
negative ones. Management is the primary reason the stock
runs up and down like it does.

I think the real problem is related to the government lawsuit pending against them. I figure they will be nailed
for over-billing, so that is why the big loss of profits. I
figure they will have to repay the government a good bit.

Market makers are holding the price of SEAC up, they are not
moving it down on weakness like they do CCUR.
