Re: "So please tell me once again, with the rapidly developing situation below, why we should continue to build up China's military regime..."

How can I tell you "once again," what I've never said at all?

I would suggest that if China "wakes up," it will not be terribly threatening. This may seem a twist of your thoughts(it is, by taking "wake up" in a good sense), and insanely naive to you, but issues can be thorny and not engaging in free trade with China could become a lot like dealing with a beaten & rabid dog(and perhaps already has, as evidenced by our fears).

Come on, this is CNBC's job.
Besides, it's better than listening to MCC. <g>

Put it on a website, print it in tomorrows paper, he doesn't have anything to say. His goal when making a speech is to not say anything. Just because you can televise something live doesn't mean you have to.

I do not believe in the "blackmail" train of thought that says if we refuse to deal with China until the dictators and the military leaders with thoughts of regional domination go, it could become a lot like dealing with "a beaten & rabid dog".... (your words)
The fact is, so called "free trade" or not, they will be a future danger, but much more so with us supporting their military.

The problem is, CNBC doesn't show it, people will complain. They show it, and others will complain. There's no winning <g>.

I say show him. After all, if you can't watch AG on CNBC, where can you see him?? This isn't one of his speeches that's printed up ahead of time (like HH testimony).

Perhaps [Martha MacCallum] will move over to Fox or CNN...

Fox it is. I saw her doing the news update yesterday at 4:30 ET on Cavuto's show.
