You are making my point. You are talking about things that happened 50 years ago.

When was the last lynching?

If there was one in recent years, I'd bet there are at least 5 times as many hate murders in the other direction since then that you and I never even heard about because the media is only interested in sensationalizing the white against black crime and the reverend is picky about what kind of hate he objects to. I bet there are more than 5 times as many unsolved black against white hate murders in this country than the other way around.

A lot of the people that are whining and calling for heads to roll about this (including athletes, entertainers, etc..) weren't even alive when the worst of that kind of stuff was going down, but they are just as hate filled and biased as if they were and experienced it themselves.

I've been reading tweets from professional athletes and entertainers that are blowing my mind.

Ignorance, bias, hate etc.. don't do them justice.

Not a single one of them was waiting for the facts before forming an opinion and they are all too damn hate filled and moronic to even understand how F'd up in the head they are.

I have no real opinion yet other than this was not a hate crime. I believe the police had ample reason to release him based on the evidence to date. If it turns out there is enough evidence to put him on trial for manslaughter it should definitely be done ASAP, but the death threats, calls for immediate prosecution, immediate justice, forced resignations, etc.. from idiots that have no clue what actually happened and scumbags that are trying to cause trouble says some bad things about a percentage of our country.

Obama reached the darkest low of his presidency this week

Obama’s ‘flexibility’ to lie after election

By Charles Hurt Tuesday, March 27, 2012

Unaware that a microphone was recording him, President Obama asked outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Monday, March 26, 2012, for breathing room until after Mr. Obama’s re-election campaign to negotiate on missile defense.ais) Turns out he’s not Kenyan after all. He’s KGB. All this time, people were worried that President Obama was born in Africa and that his radical agenda had been crafted by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Saul Alinsky on the streets of Chicago’s South Side.

Now we know his real radical hidden agenda is in service of the Kremlin.

Mr. Obama reached the darkest low of his presidency this week in South Korea when he was caught on an unseen mic plotting with the leader of one of our oldest adversaries to thwart the will of American voters and advance the interests of enemies who want to see the world’s last remaining beacon of freedom finally destroyed.

“On these issues — but particularly missile defense — this can be solved,” he tells Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, like in a scene from a Cold War spy movie.

But, Mr. Obama explains to his handler, he needs more time, and he needs to get into a position where he is no longer answerable to American voters.

“This is my last election,” he says. “After my election, I have more flexibility.”

Speaking in robotic Russian spy-speak, Mr. Medvedev promises to convey the message to incoming President Vladimir Putin: “I understand. I transmit this information to Vladimir.”

It was particularly chilling to hear Obama’s words of betrayal uttered in such a familiar voice that has served to raise the hopes and inspire the dreams of so many of us. It is now official: We fell for a complete and total lie.

His cold, calculating message reveals a deep dishonesty many of us still did not dream Mr. Obama was capable of. It is a duplicity in allegiance unthinkable for an elected American president. Literally, he overrides the interests of American voters who will go to the polls with those of Moscow and Tehran, with whom he will deal after his re-election.

Understandably, our longest-standing and most steadfast friends in Poland and Israel shuddered with every deceitful word.

The question now is, Mr. President, what other secret deals have you made with our foreign enemies?

What other tricks do you have up your sleeve that you plan to jump on us after you have been re-elected and we no longer have something you want?

Of course, don’t expect the press to ask any such questions. They largely laughed off the matter. “No shock or awe there,” Bloomberg News actually wrote in an editorial.

The stridently liberal and increasingly irrelevant Washington Post barely covered the story, except as just another technical goof-up with a microphone. The paper actually compared the incident to then-President George W. Bush inadvertently being caught calling a New York Times reporter a nasty name.

It is this incestuous and deeply un-American collusion between the press and Mr. Obama that gave the president the astonishing bravado to come out the next day and joke about the incident by asking: “Are the mics on?”

Read the caption, then watch the video. The kid says he saw one person lying on the ground. He didn't see two people. He didn't see one person pounding another. Other reports say the kid saw one person lying on the ground, yelling for help. He started forward to help but the dog pulled him in the opposite direction. Then he heard a shot. Did Martin get off Zimmerman? And then Zimmerman shot him? Would be nice to know more about Zimmerman's athletic prowess. Did he have any kind of martial arts training? Someone interested in a law enforcement career, you would think, would consider some kind of self-defense training.

>Did Martin get off Zimmerman? And then Zimmerman shot him?<

I have no idea what happened. However, I read....

Zimmerman said he shot Martin when Martin went for his gun.

Medical reports confirmed that Martin was shot at close range.

Assuming Zimmerman is telling the truth (???), the likely scenario is that he took a beating, Martin got off of him, Zimmerman was still calling for help, Zimmerman then had the opportunity to pull the gun, Martin then went for the gun, and then Zimmerman shot him.

That seems like a very plausible scenario that would be consistent with everything I've read so far (both fact and what Zimmerman has claimed).

Congresswoman Can‘t Quite Remember Name of ’Young White Female’ Murder Victim of Equal Concern to Martin Case

March 28, 2012 by Madeleine Morgenstern The Blaze

Corrine Brown (D-Fla.)

“Would you, would your fellow African American lawmakers be as concerned about this case if Trayvon wasn’t black?” CNN’s Brooke Baldwin asked.

“Oh let me tell you something. We had an incident in my area where a young white female was murdered and I was just as concerned, absolutely, I care about all of the children,” Brown said. “You know, you can make this –”

“Congresswoman Brown, what was her name?” Baldwin interjected.

Brown paused, then asked, “The young lady that got killed?

“Yes ma’am,”
Baldwin said.

“In, in Orange, uh, County,” Brown stammered. Looking off camera, she seemed to be conferring with someone, and said,Yeah, yeah, the young lady who got killed.”

“Do you remember?” Baldwin pressed.

“Uh, I don’t — I don’t remember, but we had all kinds of rallies in the community, in Jacksonville, that I participated in and I made sure that the sheriff department had the money that they need to pursue the case, so just don’t try to act like this is about this one black male, this is about all of the children,” Brown said.
