Jim,
Thanks for the link. It is a long weekend here in Canada. I am trying to catch up on the news. I just got back from the business trip from HELL . My laptop died the night before I was about to leave, condemning my presentation and my program executable and source files to oblivion. The master cylinder for the brakes on my car gave out when I need it the most. Eventaully, I make it back to the office to get a another laptop. I drop the backup laptop at work because some one did not close the zipper to the case before storing it away, so I was not too sure if it would work properly. It's was already midnight, so I spent the time till just before I got on the plane at 7:30AM restoring my system, re-installing my compilers and modifying the code from the backups to get the program back to where it was supposed to be. So I fly in with no sleep, I have to set up for my presentation and then I have to go out to do the social business thing. I get four hours of sleep, then spend all day in a presentation and then fly out that night. All this in two day. Boy, I am glad to be home.
I have not heard the conference calls or reviewed the numbers in detail yet, but It looks like ADCT and CIEN had strong quarters.
Did I miss any big economic news while I was gone?
On New York restaurants, try the Blue Ribbon in Greenwich village if you are looking for a late night place to finish the evening at. It is open till 3 am.
I am still looking for an artsy course so I can spend so time in New York this summer. I have done the tourist thing. I thought I might be fun to do the student thing. There no student like an old student..
Have a good weekend
