It was a Toshiba. I have never see anything like it. I could not even get it to boot from a floppy. I just get the Toshiba logo on the screen, so the system is active. According to the manual, this indicates a system check error, but I get no error messages and I can't even access the CMOS to modify the setup. I know they want to emphasis plug and play but that is a pretty lame set up.

Business travel has its moments. My plane was late on the way back too. I almost missed my connection because security at the airport I was doing the transfer at was a little too by the book. It is a good thing I still am in reasonable shape, running with a lap top and a brief case through a crowded terminal is hard work. |
