Hi Pat! Another 52 week high! Getting in bed with Lucent is so cool I dont have to watch my investment as close any more. Over the past 18 months I have spent WAAYYY too much time monitoring ASND on the net. Now that Im in Lucent I dont have to watch near as much, just be prepared to buy more on the dips. EVERYBODY who is anybody credible says the two combined are going to kick butt FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT TEN YEARS!!! Get ready for a split announcement, I can feel it coming either from LU or ASND! EVERYBODY I NEED HELP

After the Waterhouse SNAFU, where on Wednesday when I tried to call to buy ASND at the low stalled price, all i got was 'all lines are busy, call back later', then the system hung up leaving me with a dead line. I lost out on at least $10K - $12K dues to this Waterhouse incompetence.

SO
I am looking for a new Broker - requirements are
dependable services
low rates
good on line services
fair option/margin requirements

Please recommend some brokers!!

I have had no problems with Dreyfus Brokerage Services at www.tradepbs.com
After the Oct 97 fiasco they upgraded their system so well that I can never make out when its a heavy volume day. Limit, Market orders (Equity AND Options) are all $15. Market orders execute in less than 5 seconds.
