Apple store, it was packed, dozens of emplioyees helping hundreds of customers. I then looked to my left at the Microsoft Store, there were two obviously bored employees watching a kid play X-Box.. And you just stood around and watched?
Oh how sad!
Help your fellow man - join the kid, then at least maybe those salespeople would still have a job.
I can just see it now:
Person of poor repute (POPR): "Hmmm, time to rob a store, lets seee, the Apple is too busy, I'll get caught"
POPR: I know, I'll rob the MS store, two bored employees and a kid! Should be a snap!
POPR burst into MS store: "Hands in the air! Give me all your money!!!"
Kid still playing oblivious to the world, salespeople slowly turing towards POPR.
SalesPerson (SP): "I'm sorry, we don;t have any money, no one has bought anything since we first opened"
POPR: "That's impossible! "
(cash register chims open - it's empty)
POPR: "Okay, give me anything of value here!"
SP: "Well we have this copy of Office and - hey how about an XBOX?"
Kid looks up with a "don't you dare touch this thing while I'm playing" (parents know the look)
POPR: "Nah I have an iPad and WII - I don't care for XBOX. And everyone and their mother has Office."
SP: "How about this nice new box of WIndows?"
POPR runs out screaming
SP (to each other): "another day another - oh no dollars" |
