At that price, they should be free.

Chinese consumer think that owning Apple products is a sense of superiority.

Apple’s sales in China are set go even higher as iPhone sales for the first quarter of the year are quadruple
more the numbers of same period of last year. The sales of Apple’s MacBook have also grown by 60 percent
since the time the company entered China. The preference of Chinese consumers for major brands and the
increasing respect that Apple has shown China for its massive market potential have shored up the success of
the company in the country …

The company’s sales in the first quarter tripled that of the same period last year. Apple has so far made

US$12.4 billion in China this year, nearly approaching the whole revenue of the company’s last financial year
at US$13.3 billion. The revenue of Apple in China now accounts for 20 percent of its total global revenue from
just 2 percent in 2009. It will not be surprised to reach up 40 percent within the next few year. The high-profile
visit of CEO Tim Cook to China last month, while he met key officials and the vice premier has also shown the
company’s ambition to forge a closer relationship with the Chinese market. The company’s China sales is
expected to reach US$30 billion by 2015.

Sure, you could buy your mom flowers. But what if it's a gadget that she wants?

Uh oh, it’s that time of year again. She’s the person that loved and cared for you for your whole life, even after that time in the third grade when you had that ‘accident’ in class. Sure, you may say moms deserve a gift every day of the year. But commercialism owns the calendar, folks.

So here are a few great gift ideas for that special mom in your life.

AAPL tailcoat scam stocks update for the day:

LQMT -13.04%
DOMK -35.60%

Not quite a scam stock but similarly riding Apple's coat tails is ZAGG. I bough this about the same time I bought LQMT (which I have since sold). ZAGG is up about 30% from the time a bought it. Similar to LQMT, it should pop if we get more rumors like this:

iPhone 5's Groundbreaking Feature isn't From Apple | Benzinga

The other stock I bought to play the waterproofing of mobile phones idea was TINY but that is not a pure play but more of a way to be an arm chair venture capitalist in nano-technology.

I don't necessarily think the iPhone 5 will be waterproof and would expect this feature to show up in Android phones first. No matter, the stock goes up either way. If ZAGG runs up wildly before the iPhone 5 is released and will take my profits.

I hope that Apple gets on this first, and exclusively, if possible. It's an absolute killer feature. The first time I heard about it I was excited. But I hadn't realized that actual products were so close to being available.

Shatterproof OLED displays are supposed to debut in 2013 as well.

Both features would be absolutely great for consumers, but it will have at least some negative impact on the replacement rate.

MacDailyNews Take: Here’s another question: Is Facebook the short of the decade?

If Facebook is worth $96 billion then why isn’t Apple worth $2.7 trillion?
