No. But I am worried that the Samsung wolf will get a larger piece of the smartphone pie if the iPhone 5 does not come out like quick, to chase it back into the woods where it belongs.

I absolutely believe that the Galaxy S3 will do well and it will take share over the summer. However, this is not the handset that changes the overall competitive dynamic in smartphones. The S3 is competitive with the 4S but the iPhone 5 will regain the lead.

I dont see anything different than what happened last year.

and note, the valuation is actually lower than it was last year at this time.

We saw it happen last year as consumers held off buying iPhones. However I was not expecting the 5 until Sept. Its going to be a rough quarter or two. But I'm thinking the iPhone 5 will be solidly great phone. Cook has something to prove, and so does Ive.

I am too. Without a new iPhone in Q2 and very late product refreshes for the iMac and laptops, I don't see anything but the iPad driving sales this quarter.

My thoughts exactly. I think at best AAPL will trade sideways through the summer, with a massive pop for calendar Q4 earnings just like we got last year.

Definitely. The iPhone 5 will be the first iPhone to come out post Jobs.
