That's a really interesting photo, especially for this thread.

It's practically an ad for all-things-Sony from the years when it felt like they ruled the planet.

Funny how the world turns.

Please do not try this at home:

The IPad Charger As A Bottle Opener: Only Slightly Better Than Using Your Teeth

Steve Jobs is still amazing us with his multifaceted technology. The latest discovery from Eva Giselle ( @EvaZebra)
gave us a great idea to try out over the weekend -- try to successfully open a beer bottle with an iPad charger.

First Wally, later said to be rogue stores or mistakes, now Target. One of three things IMHO.

1. Apple is losing some control of their customers.
2. Sales are slow and very un Jobsian Apple is discounting.
3. The next iPhone is closer than we think and they're burning out inventory.

With my track record number 4 is probably right.

That would be #2 without the name that must not be said.

Since I am in AAPL for an investment, not a trade, I would be interested in knowing what others on this thread feel should be AAPL's price points over the next two and a half years.
I think your numbers look reasonable, though I note that the stock is presently trading at a PER below 15.

My feeling is that if most people don't believe Apple can sustain earnings growth by now, they probably never will, except for brief periods surrounding stellar reports and/or new product releases, when momentum players jump on, and just as quickly off.

So Apple will have to make new highs in the stock the old fashioned way. They'll have to earn them.
