J.F. Sebastian:

No offense taken.

No. I was referring to the gap between 425-450 which is a good sized one. I think there were some smaller ones between 550-575 that were probably filled.

Apple does not seem to behave as a conventional stock. Sort of dances to its own tune.

Although I wouldn't bet my life on what Kramer says, I do agree with him, trading Apple could be dangerous and not for me. I wonder how many real winners there are trading versus buying it and holding on. I think, with Apple, holding on has been the best deal-so far. Without a doubt, holding on is not be the best thing to do with a lot of stocks.

We've all been very fortunate with Apple. Almost like winning the lottery-once in a lifetime occurrence.

You're right. The one with a "C". The guy that talks like a machine gun and rolls up his sleeves like he means business.

The improved margins helped the bottom line a lot, and made the difference between landing above 12 or below.

The increased margins over last qtr account for more than $2/sh of the reported $12.3/sh without which eps would've been closer to $10/sh!!!
This must be the highest margin rate qtr ever, if not close to.
I doubt anyone expected margins to go this high.

OK, thank you. I knew there was one in the 400-500 range that you'd mentioned, I just couldn't remember where.

Personally, I love watching this Kramer:

But not this Cramer:

They both say rather odd things, I just think Kramer is funny and Cramer isn't. :-)

Asia revenues up 5 fold from last quarter from $2 billion to $10 billion. $8 billion revenue growth is equivalent to 13 million iPhones. That's very amazing sequential growth in that market for 1 quarter.

Hey, I don't remember saying that Apple wouldn't beat 12 bucks. In fact, I believe the record shows that I said it would.

Yes, you a beacon of confidence in darkest of times. A real trooper.

Tim Cook says Windows 8-style tablet PC convergence won't please anyone

Apple's chief executive Tim Cook doesn't see success in Microsoft's strategy to have Windows 8 power everything from notebooks to tablets to hybrid transforming devices, comparing their convergence to a refrigerator with toaster functions tacked on the side.

A friend of mine already coined the "phrase":

Windows 8 = Toasterator

based on Cook's comments.

Over time, the numbers from Verizon, AT&T and other US phone companies will cease to be significant as an indicator of overall iPhone sales. I guess those hand-wringing Chicken Littles forgot about the rest of the world. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Asia LOVES Apple! No, the iPhone and iPad are NOT too expensive for Asia. People may balk at the price at first. Then they see their friends using one, they see how slick it is, and suddenly, price is no longer an issue, and like magic they have the $$$ ;-) Also, Asian buyers don't all depend on subsidies from the phone companies, and phone-locking is practically unheard of.
