Also now that Apple is as big as it is we can already see examples of trolls trying to extort funds from their large coffers for all kinds of stuff.

Trolls, maybe, I prefer to call them leeches.

I am heavier cash than I started out this past Monday - about 1/3rd cash.

Come October, Apple will have between $50 and $55 TTM EPS.

By January share price will be between $650 and $700.

Those are my predictions :)

No dividend announcement at annual meeting. Tim asked for time at the GS presentation to decide what was best for the shareholders.

That was a tell, IMO.

I have to agree. I'm not expecting anything regarding a split or dividend at the meeting ... I think it's too soon. I was hoping and expecting a split announcement going into the end of the year 2011, but when I saw the docket with no mention of it ... I think it's a dead issue for now. Best chance now would be next earnings.

That all said, I'll still carry some into the meeting just in case.

Sometimes, you just get lucky. It's nice that discipline sometimes pays off like that nearly immediately instead of making you squirm for a while to realize that it was a good move.

I don't see where there is any appreciable benefit to Apple to do either of splitting the stock or paying out a divie.

Without an immediate benefit, seems a low expectation of it happening.
