Why have more than half of my entered orders said "Unable to confirm your order"?? I have the right password and these are market orders.

Datek is so SSSLLLOOOOOOOWWW!!!

15 minutes and counting on a market order on a very heavily traded company, what's up with that?

"Network error: Unable to connect to server"

That's what I get at servers 2,3,4,5,6.

You're not alone. I've been getting the same thing on orders5. I finally got an order entered on orders7, but now I can't get back in to see if it executed.

I agree with the last couple of posts. Total unresponsiveness of DATEK in today's volatility has prevented me from getting back into positions and cost me many thousands of dollars. After a years satisfactory trading with DATEK, I feel I now have to review it since a brokerage which isn't there when you need it most is worse than useless.

So much for participating in the rally. I imagine that Datek is absolutely swamped right now. Has anyone tried to reach them by phone? (Don't laugh, I'm serious!)

I should have kept my mouth shut. Total failure at Datek. Can't get quotes on any of the servers, including the https direct addresses. I did manage to get a market order through on the express server, but at nearly 3 points higher than my first attempt a half-hour earlier. This is very disappointing. I was ready to participate in a turnaround, but Datek has completely locked me out.

%^*($%#!!! Yesterday, my ISP had T3 problem, so I couldn't play the short side. Now comes a rally, and Datek won't let me get in on it.
Might as well go back to bed.

Lots of unhappy people today with Datek. I think they had a meltdown. Surprising, since they performed so well yesterday. This confirms my oopinion that they are unsuitable for daytrading, and I am redoubling my efforts to find a new broker. ABWateley and ATFI top my list at this point.
