Hi Battie- I'm playing ALSK for a takeout & enjoying a 10% dividend while I wait. Just have a small amount on the bet, but when & if it happens provides some great Capital Gains. Maybe VZ will be making the offer who knows

from what i read they have moved into position to do this themselves.

how big of a bet is this for you? (as a percentage of your equities)

Enronbuyer:: You sure like to mix Apples & Oranges don't you. The additional shares are from the reorg & your trying to use that to fit your conclusion. So you are saying to sell at what price? Let go on with another stock.

You also might want to check the divvy on ALSK based on your purchase price of $2.60

Battie-I guess I don't believe everything I read & made my bet is that either VZ will buy ALSK as the number of potential clients is nominal to spend a ton to build a network. Very small bet, just a few thousand shares. Still a nice 10% divy while I wait.

On your $2.60 purchase price, it will take 3 years to recoup.

The balance sheet is a train wreck. Divvy should have been cut to zero.
